This piece was featured in Electrify! The exhibition was presented by the JFK Center for the Performing Arts and received the Award of Excellence in 2017. The exhibition travelled for two years around the United States visiting colleges, galleries, and museums, thanks to generous sponsorship from the Volkswagen Group of America.
The Electrify! Exhibitions showcased that art should excite our senses, awaken our curiosity, and electrify our very being. Art has the ability to empower the artist and viewer alike, but just as important, it can spark debate and conversation, and ultimately ignite understanding.
